This week Elder Adrian Ochoa, the President of Central America came and talked to my mission. I can't really describe how much I felt the Spirit. He talked from us from 8 in the morning until almost 4 in the afternoon. Then the leaders of the mission had another meeting with him.
Below are some of his points that he made very clear on successful missionaries:

1. Becomes one with Christ
- John 14:12
- 3 Nephi 11:21-39
2. One with your companion
- John 17:20-22
- The prayer most powerful in the world was the prayer that Christ did in the garden of Gethsemane.
- To teach with power and authority you need to become first one with Christ, and second with your companion. Poder viene cuando somos uno con cristo.
- There is no other influence more powerful than that of love and acceptance.
3. One with the Bishop
- Preach my Gospel 218
4. Focused
- Speaks to everyone
- Truly invites others to come unto Christ.
5. Takes Responsibility
- Alma 42:22
- The atonement (Christ took responsibility for us when he paid the price of our sins)
- When we try not to take responsibility for our own actions we are putting distance between us and Christ.
Then he drew on the board a mountain and said that are missionaries that only serve "cuesta arriba" and then he drew a slope and said that there are missionaries that run down the hill and enjoy the mission.
6. Listens and Blesses
- follows the spirit and invites to act
- preach my gospel ch. 4
7. Develops perfect faith
- 2 Tim 1:7
- 1 john 4:18
- D&C 3:7-8
- Ether 12:14
Give this a study!
Love you guys,
Dad I'm glad you made it through Trek :)
